One of the most central villages of Agistri, Megalochori (or Mylos) is home for one of the island’s two ports. Hotels and rooms to let, restaurants and cafes, bars and shops, everything you need you can find at Megalochori. Its cosmopolitan character also attracts people at its homonymous beach (a mix of sand and pebbles, organized at parts but not everywhere, covering all tastes!).
However, despite its cosmopolitan character, Megalochori manages to keep its traditional characteristics and authentic aura. It is worth taking a walk along its small, paved streets with the traditional stone houses and beautiful courtyards full of flowers.
Bonus Tip: Megalochori is connected to Skala village by bus.
